This gal has done some travel, thanks to the military. I started in Ithaca, New York, stayed the longest in San Antonio Texas and now I'm in Acworth Georgia. After serving in the Air Force, I did some civil service, went to commercial art school. However that wasn't fun. I returned to school to get a BA from University of Texas at San Antonio. Some of my artwork has shown in galleries thru-out San Antonio, with scratchboards, paintings, murals, carving and other sculptures. I also have had artwork shown in Woodcraft magazine, Ampersand website, and Sukura gel pens website. Known as June now - is primarily a wood carver, wood turner, wood worker and refinisher. Won several showings in Texas and Georgia State Fairs. I love learning new art styles & trends. Resin, glass blowing, and raku pottery are just a few of the art projects I want to learn. There has been several mediums tried, but the one that is used the most is wood. It's warm and beautiful and a old artform that folks are slowly forgetting. There are many pieces to see.
