This gal has done some travel, thanks to the military. I started in Ithaca, New York, stayed the longest in San Antonio Texas and now I'm in Acworth Georgia. After serving in the Air Force, I did some civil service, and went to commercial art school. Worked as a Art director for Alamo Ads. I returned to school to get a BA from University of Texas at San Antonio. Some of my artwork has shown in galleries thru-out San Antonio, with scratchboards, paintings, murals, carving and other sculptures. I also have had artwork shown in Woodcraft magazine, Ampersand website, and Sukura gel pens website. Known as June now - is primarily a wood carver, wood turner, wood worker and refinisher. Won several showings in Texas and Georgia State Fairs. Commission work is my way of meeting people and to express their dreams of an idea they want made. I love my job.

There has been several mediums tried, but the one that is used the most is wood. It's warm and beautiful and a old artform that folks are slowly forgetting. There are many pieces to see.
